Apprenticeship Opportunities

Area II Limited Energy Electrical JATC Apprenticeship

  • Must by at least 17 years of age and may not register until at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be a high school graduate or have obtained the equivalent GED certificate.
  • Must hve completed one year of high school algebra, integrated math II, or equivalent post-high school algebra course(s) with a grade of a C or better, or submit equivalent math placement test score.
  • Limited energy technician install, miantian, replace, and repair electrical systems and equipment of uner 100 volt-amperes.

 

Region 3, Marion Polk Sub-Committee, State of Oregon Marion and Polk Counties

  • The occupation of Exterior Interior Specialist (Acoustical, Metal Stud, and Drywall) will be taught under Standards administered by the Oregon-SW Washington Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee, MA#1057.
  • EIS Apprenticeship program will develop skills, knowledge, and experience in many areas. 
  • Work processess and Related Training include, but are not limited to, Metal Stud Framing, Sheet Rock Application, Suspended Ceilings, Door Installation, Welding, Fire Stop, Clean room, and Scaffold.
  • Qualifications:  17 years of age and hav a high school diploma, GED or quivalent OR 18 years of age.

  • Work Processess and Related Training include, but are not limited to, Form Building, Welding and Burning, Rough Framing and Outside Finishing, Inside Finishing, Acoustical, Finish Hardward, Clean Room, Layout (framing, Concrete) other work processess (care of tools, scaffolding, clean-up).
  • Qualifications:  17 years of age and hav a high school diploma, GED or quivalent OR 18 years of age.

Cement Mason-Apprenticeship Opportunities

      Oregon/SE Washington Cement Masons JATC

  • Must be 18 years of age; proof will be required
  • Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Must hve a current valid driver's license

  • Applicants  will be interviewed, scored, ranked, and placed on the ranked pool of eligibles list
  • Applicants will be dispatched in ranked order
  • 6000 hours (approximately 3 to 4 years) on the job training will be required to complete the program.
