United States Military Academy Summer Leaders Seminar 2010

  • May 29-June 4, 2010 or June 5-June 11, 2010
  • West Point offers outstanding juniors the opportunity to experience cadet life at the academy by attending the Summer Leaders Seminar.
  • Student from all over the nation attend the Summer Leaders Seminar which allow the opportunity to experience a completely different college experience.
  • About 500 students are selected from applicants nationwide to attend each of the sessions. 
  • The cost is $350, exclluding transportation costs to and from West Point.

United States Air Force Academy Summer Seminar 2010
  • Dates:  Session "A"  June 2-6, 2010; Session "B" June 8-12; Session "C" June 14-18
  • Allows high performing high school students to spend one week at the United States Air Force Academy at the conclusion of their junior year.
  • Features a week filled with numerous academic workships, intramural sports, and many other activities connected to cadet life.

United States Naval Academy Summer Leadership 2010
  • Dates:  June 5-10, June 12-17, or June 19-24
  • Six day session to experience the life as a midshipman.
  • Academic and Leadership workshops plus a variety of other experiences.
  • Tuition:  $350 for room and board plus transporation cost to and from Acadamy.

Career and Technical Education College Fair

  • Hands-on career fair featuring representatives from one- or two- year Career and Technical Education programs.
  • Presentations, Information regarding financial aid, getting started at COCC and Student Life.

College Preparatory Institute
  • Can attend the University of Denver or the University of Oregon
  • For students who could benefit from an extensive orientation program be fore full;-time college enrollment.
  • College Living Experience is an intensive introduction to college for two weeks during the summer for students ready to enter their freshman year of college OR for student who have struggled previously in higher eduction.
  • Provides structured and supportive environment and prepares students for a successful transition to any institurtion of higher learning.
