Mabel Almquist/Silverton H. S. Scholarship
- U.S. Citizens who are graduates of Silverton High School and who are full time undergraduate students at any public or private educational/vocational insitutution.
- Awards will be based on academic ability, excellence in a school related field of endeavor, community and school service, and general attitude.
- Financial need and the extent to which an applicant has provided for his or her own post high school education may be taken into account.

Silverton H. S. Alumni Association Scholarship
- This application is to be used by qualified applicants who are graduating, or have graduated from S.H.S. and desire to apply for the Loar, Silverton High School Alumni Association, and/or the Silverton High School Scholarship Fund Scholarships.
- Scholarship awards are available for both vocational and academic pursuits.
- Awards will be granted only to Silverton High School graduates who will be attending full time as an undergraduate student, any public or private post-high school educational/vocational institution in the United States for the full academic year.

Silverton Hospital Auxiliary Medical Career Scholarship
- The Silverton Hospital Auxiliary will offer scholarships this year to qualified students who have chosen a medically related career that could be practiced at Silverton Hospital.
- Must be a student preparing for a medical career at an accredited institution of higher education or have been accepted for fall admission by a college or university.
- Must furnish a transcript of grades from high school or college.
- Must furnish a written recommendation from the applicant's high school or college advisor (teacher or professor letter will be accepted).
- Complete application
- Write a one-page essay explaining your reasons for choosing your particular medical career.

Marion/Clackamas Chapter of Oregon Women For Agriculture
- Available to any person from Marion or Clackamas Counties preparing to enter or attend a college or university within the state of Oregon in an Agricultural related major.
- An official transcript from each high school, junior college, and college attended MUST ACCOMPANY the application.
- Three letters of recommendation are to also included.

Chemeketa Community College Scholars Program
- Must attend high school in Chemeketa's district or reside within Chemeketa's district.
- Earn a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or better as of first semester of final year in high school.
- Earn minimum COMPASS placement test scores of 80 in Reading and 64 in Writing.
- Be on track to earn a regular high school diploma.
- Enroll full-time (12-18 credits) at Chemeketa starting the fall term that immediately following high school graduation.
- Must complete Chemeketa's web admission application and COMPASS placement test in reading, writing, and math before March 1, 2010.
- After March 1st, PRINT and COMPLETE the Chemketa Scholars Application; Obtain a copy of unofficial school transcript, and submit the completed Chemeketa Scholars application and high school transcript BEFORE MARCH 31, 2010, 5:00 pm.

Campbell Orthodontics Scholarship
- A $500 one-time scholarship.
- High School senior with academics in good standing.
- Must be planning to attend a college or university and entering the dental field such as dentist, dental assisting, dental hygienist, etc.
- Must send official high school transcript, application, and short essay questions.
- "What has inspired you to pursue your specific interest in the dental field and how do you plan to achieve these goals?"
- "How do you feel you could contribute to society and the community you live in by working in the dental field."

MaPS Credit Union Scholarship
- Applicants or their families must ber MaPS members.
- Winners will be chosen by a board made up of MaPS Charitable Committee members and MaPS management team.
- Award will be based upon scholastic record and aptitude, participation/accomplishments, career objective, need, essay questions and a panel interview.

Monitor Cooperative Telephone Company
- This scholarship fund is for the benefit of Monitor Cooperative Telephone Company Members and their immediate family.
- The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize and provide financial assistance to students pursuing an education in any degree program of study at any university, four-year college, community college, technical or trade school.
- The scholarship is available to students who are Monitor Cooperative Telephone Company (634 prefixes) Members or immediate family members on date of the initial award of the scholarship.
- The scholarship amount is $2000 to a graduating high school senior.
- Selection criteria is based on educational achievement, involvement in activities, honors, awards, and career goals. Financial need is not a consideration.

Silverton Kiwanis Scholarship
- $500 scholarship granted to any person in the Silverton area (graduating high school senior or individual in the community).
- Purpose is to further his or her education in any post-secondary college, community college, or vocational school within the State of Oregon.
- Purpose is to assist students who are wholly or partially dependent on their own resources to finance their education.
- Kiwanis will award one Health Field Award, one Music Award, and two General Awards.
- Official School Transcript, previous awards received, involvement in school related and/or career related activities, appropriately completed application, financial need and evidence of some self-supporting for schooling.

Brent Strohmeyer Memorial Foundation Scholarship
- Any graudatin student or college student who is a resident in Linn, Marion, or Polk Counties OR had their senior portraits taken at Stro's Photography.
- A minimum gpa of 2.5.
- Applicant must prove an interest in the automotive hobby OR enroll in automotive classes in an institution of higher education including community colleges and trade schools.
- Three recipients and an alternate will be chosen based on financial need and their automotive interest. Selection committee's decision will be final.
- Scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $400 to acny accredited two or four year institution.

Kurt Sacher Memorial Wrestling Scholarship Fund
- Must be a high school senior who is actively participating in the sport of wrestling within the Silverton Area.
- Must plan to attend an institution of higher education.
- Must have a minimum gpa of 2.1 and include an official high school transcript with application.
- Must provide a letter of recommendation from a coach or teacher.
- Selection Criteria: 20% Financial Need; 15% GPA; 40% Interview with Committee; and 25% Wrestling Involvement.

OSEA Chapter Classified Employees Scholarship
- The OSEA Chapter 148 will award a scholarship to a senior student who is an immediate family member of an OSEA Chapter 148 member in good standing. Equal consideration will be given to applicants who attend high schools other than Silverton High School.
- Applicants must have an accumulative 3.00 gpa.
- Applicants must plan on pursuing their education following high school graduation.
- Applicants must submit application form which includes initial information and anticipated budget.

The Darrin Maulding Memorial Scholarship
- The Darrin Maulding Scholarship will be given to a senior student who is currently participating or has participated in the Mechanical Technology Program.
- Selection will be made by the high school.
- Selection will be based upon sincere interest of the student pursuing further education in the field of auto or diesel mechanics.

Silverton Lion's Club $1000 Scholarship
- This award will be given to a Silverton High School Senior who plans on pursuing further education in a four year baccalaureate program upon graduation.
- The purpose is to recognize a senior student who has made significant contributions to Silverton High School through participation in athletics and other extracurricular activities; maintained a high level of academic performance, and demonstrates financial need.
- Must be active in school activities and athletics.
- Possess a minimum of a 3.00 gpa after the 7th semester of high school
- Demonstrates financial need.
- Must enroll in college the fall following high school graduation.

- This award will be given to a Silverton High School Senior who plans on pursuing further education in Music or other Arts at a four year baccalaureate program upon graduation.
- The purpose is to recognize a senior student who has made significant contributions to Silverton High School through participation in music or other arts and other extracurricular activities; maintained a high level of academic performance; and demonstrates financial need.

Silverton Fly Wheels Car Club Scholarships: Jon Dunn Memorial and Bob Bullard Memorial
- Must be a senior who is currently participating or has participated in the Mechanical Technology Program at Silverton High School.
- Scholarshps recipients will be selected by members of the Silverton Fly Wheels Car Club.
- Selection will be based upon the sincere interest in auto mechanics and specialties.
- Applicants must be an enthusiast for the restoration and collection of automobiles.

Silver Falls Edcation Association Scholarship
- SFEA will award a scholarship to a senior student who is a child of a certified staff member of the Silver Falls Education Association.
- Equal consideration will be given to applicants who attend high schools other than Silverton High School.
- Applicants must have an accumulative 3.00 gpa.
- Applicants must plan on pursuing their education following high school graudation.
- Applicants must submit an application, transcript, a brief expalnation of how the scholarsip money will be used.
- Applicants must submit an essay: "Living in a home where your parent(s) are educatiors; what perspectives on public education do you have that other people may not have?"

The Justin Little Memorial Foundation History Scholarship
- The Justine Little Memorial Foundation History Scholarship will be given to one or more graudating senrios win an interest in American History who are planning on attending an Oregon Community College.
- Applicants will be enrolled in at least two history courses during the coming academic year in college.
- Applicants are to write an essay, not to esceed 500 workds, on the importqnce of studying history and describing interest in American History including the Civil War.
- In addition to the essay or as an alternative to the essay, applicants ;may submit a letter of recommendqtion from a history teacher describing the applicant's genuine interest in history.
- The essay/letter of recommendation will be reviewed by a scholarship comittee and awards will be based upon the applicant's demonstrated interest, ideas, and effort.
- Special allowance will be made for any applicant with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Asperger's Syndrome.
- This is not an academic contest or an award based upon financial need.
- This award is to recognize the sincere interest of history.

- This scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior student who is currently or has participated in the Agricultural Program at Silverton High School.
- This $500 scholarship will assist the selected student in furthering their education beyond the high school level in Production Agriculture.
- Selection will be made by the Family of Stewart L. Bye and will be based upon the sincere interest of the student pursuign Agriculture as their career.

Silverton Knights of Columbus Council 5416 Scholarship
- Be a memeber of St. Paul Catholic Church in Silverton, Oregon; or be the son or daughter of a member of the Silverton Knights of Columbus Council 5416.
- Provide a completed application from to the Silverton Knights of Columbuis, Council 5416 by May 3, 2010.
- Furnish a written recommendation from a teacher, or the sutdents advisor from the high school from which the applicant will graduate; The recommendation is to include the students accumulative grade point average.
- Furnish a written recommendation from one other individual of the applicants choice. The individual selected must be someone other than a relative.
