Foundatin for Rural Service Scholarship (Monitor Telephone Company)
- Must be a graduating high school senior.
- Receive any telecommunications service from a current NTCA member.
- Be accepted by an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational-technical school.
- Have at least a C grade point average.
- Express an interest to retrun to a rural community following graduation.
- Be sponsored by a contributor to or supporter of the Foundation for Rural Service.

Kohl's Kids Who Care Scholarship Program
- Nominees ages between 13-18 years
- Actions must be described in detail and should document efforts above and beyond what is normally expected of a student his or her age.
- Volunteer efforts must have occurred in the last year.
- Winners are chosen based on the project, benefits, and outcome.
- Applicants must not have graudated high school as of March 15, 2010.
