  • Graduating from high school this academic school year.
  • Maintaining a minimum high school gpa of 2.75 or higher.\
  • Enrolling in a public, in-state college or university starting September 2010.

2010 National FFA Scholarship Program

  • Applications online beginning November 15, 2009
  • To register and submit an online application, go to:  http://www.ffa.org/
  • FFA applications must have Advisor approval
  • Applications must be submitted electronically by 5:00 pm EST February 15, 2010.
  • Required signature pages must be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service postmarked no later than February 22, 2010.
  • Applicants cannot print the required Signature Page until after advisor approval
  • Applicants will not be able to access the Print Signature Page link after 11:59 pm EST on February 22, 2010.

 

Foundatin for Rural Service Scholarship (Monitor Telephone Company)

  • Must be a graduating high school senior.
  • Receive any telecommunications service from a current NTCA member.
  • Be accepted by an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational-technical school.
  • Have at least a C grade point average.
  • Express an interest to retrun to a rural community following graduation.
  • Be sponsored by a contributor to or supporter of the Foundation for Rural Service.
  • Application Deadline:  March 1, 2010.

Kohl's Kids Who Care Scholarship Program

  • Nominees ages between 13-18 years
  • Actions must be described in detail and should document efforts above and beyond what is normally expected of a student his or her age.
  • Volunteer efforts must have occurred in the last year.
  • Winners are chosen based on the project, benefits, and outcome.
  • Applicants must not have graudated high school as of March 15, 2010.
  • Nomination Deadline:  March 15, 2010

The American Legion Scholarships

     American Legion Legacy Scholarship

  • Biological of legally adopted children of active-duty U.S. military or National Gudarsmen, and reservists who were mobilized and died on active duty on or after September 11, 2001.
  • Available to high school seniors.
  • Undergraduate studies at any U.S. school of higher education.
  • Due:  April 15, 2010

  • The American Letion honors the Eagle Scout of the year at the National Convention with a $10,000. scholarship.
  • The three runnerup receive $2500 scholarships.
