  • Must secure a letter of recommendation from a school or community member
  • Will enroll the fall term following his/her graduation from high school
  • Must secure the signatures of the applicant, principal, and OASSA member parent
  • Must include copy of most recent school transcript

Association for Computer Professionals in Education (ACPE) scholarship

This year the Association of Computer Professionals in Education (ACPE) has allocated $10,000 for scholarships of up to $2,500 each for students in Oregon and Washington. These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors who have been actively involved in the use of technology during their high school careers and are planning to pursue studies in a technology related field.

  1. Currently a senior at an Oregon or Washington K–12 public or private educational institution
  2. Has a minimum C+ GPA (include certified transcripts)
  3. Has demonstrated high interest and innovative use of technology during high school career
  4. Has demonstrated some community/school involvement, preference of technology focus
  5. Plans to pursue studies in a technology related field to obtain the minimum of a two-year degree
  6. Has provided description of a technology project
  7. Submitted evidence, in a web based form providing a URL with no client needed for access, demonstrating the project - do not send DVD's
  8. Has completed the Student Applicant Form, signed by 2 nominating teachers
