Oregon Collectors Association Hasson/Newman Memorial Scholarship Fund
- Awarded to Orgon High School Seniors
- Planning to attend as full time students at any Oregon Accredited public, private college, university, or trade school.
- Must start attendance within 12 months of the award.
- Must show proff of enrollment for minimum of 12 credits.
- Eassy subject is to be 1000 to 1500 words.
- Essay subject: "Credit in the 21st Century."
- Must be typed and able to be read in three to five minutes.

Associated Oregon Loggers, Inc. Scholarship
- The AOL Scholarship Competition is a $1500 scholarship awarded annually (renewable for three years) to Oregon high school seniors wo intend to pursue a four-year college or university education and a career in a forest resource reproduction field of study.
- Field of study examples: Forest Managment, Forest Engineering, and Forest Products.
- Applicants must submit: application form, essay question, high school transcripts, SAT/ACT scores, and letter of acceptance to four year college and the college must be accredited by the Society of American Foresters.

The LaVelle Mullennex Memorial Scholarship Award
- Applicant must be preparing for a career as non-attorney Legal Support Staff.

- For students continuing their education at a four-year institution of higher learning.
- A SELCO member or be an immediate family member of a SELCO member.
- A grudating senior from a four-year accredited high dchool with a GPA of at least 3.5.

Oregon New Lawyers Division 2010 High School Essay Contest
- Open to all Oregon high school students.
- Three winners will be selected to receive $500, $350, and $250, respectively for first, second, and third place winners.
- All entries must be received at the Oregon State Bar Office No Later that 5 pm on May 12, 2010.
- Submit a persuasive essay of 750 to 1000 words using only the sources and infomation found in the Essay Univers attached to application.
